DCMM, short for Data Management Capability Maturity Model (GB/T 36073-2018), is China’s first national standard in the field of data management. It was jointly developed in 2014 by the Big Data Standards Working Group under the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee, overseen by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the State Administration for Market Regulation.

The model evaluates the maturity of enterprise data management across multiple dimensions, including process and policy systems, organizational management, competencies, and methodologies. It is currently the most authoritative certification system for data management maturity in China.
