To thoroughly implement the Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Heat Pump Industry and support the green and low-carbon transition of the economy and society, as well as the global carbon neutrality initiative, the 2025 China Heat Pump Industry Annual Conference and the 14th International Heat Pump Industry Development Summit Forum was successfully held on July 30 in Jinan, Shandong. The event was organized by the Heat Pump Professional Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association.
Moon-Tech’s Executive Vice President Mr. Shu Jianguo and Chief Technology Officer/Director of the Central Research Institute Dr. Chen Wenqing were invited to attend the conference, actively engaging in technical exchanges and discussions on industry development.
At this year’s annual conference, Moon-Tech presented its achievements focused on comprehensive thermal control system solutions for all industrial scenarios.
Leveraging multi-energy coupling system design and integrated multi-source/multi-level energy utilization, Moon-Tech's solutions enable efficient recovery and reuse of thermal energy across an ultra-wide temperature range from -35°C to 600°C. These technologies effectively address the challenges of energy quality matching and cascade utilization in complex and discrete waste heat scenarios.
In a real-world application, an enterprise integrated an indirect heat pump distillation process to recover the condensation latent heat from the top of the distillation column. Through the heat pump cycle, the recovered heat was upgraded and reused at the bottom of the column to heat the reboiler. This retrofit saved the enterprise over 40 million RMB annually and reduced CO₂ emissions by 79,530 tons per year. By innovating in energy recovery and efficiency, Moon-Tech empowers green transitions in the petrochemical and chemical industries.
At the Industrial Application Forum, Mr. Wang Hesen, Technical Director of Moon-Tech's Low Carbon Energy Division, delivered a technical presentation titled "Exploring the Integration Path of High-Temperature Heat Pump Systems and Digital Intelligence Technologies." The report explored the application potential of high-temperature heat pumps in industrial settings and emphasized innovative ideas and practical approaches for integrating intelligent technologies with high-temperature systems—providing valuable insights for intelligent, efficient adoption in industry.
